How to get involved

Interested in new work for the theatre? Theatre Fest 15 was launched on the 27th May 2015 on the Isle of Man backed by NODA and the Isle of Man Arts Council.

  • This year you will have a chance to write a new one act play on the theme of slavery and have your work produced in 2016.

 (The new writing initiative as part of TheatreFest 15 is organised by the Isle of Man Arts Council and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA). (Closing date 4th September 2015 subject to an extension no later than 31st December 2015.)

  • Later this year, you can take part in puppetry workshops (if you’re under 18) and devised theatre workshops (if you’re 18+) performing the devised theatre work at The Gaiety Theatre on the Isle of Man in October.
  • You could also join West End professionals on stage at The Gaiety in October in a new musical called ‘JIMMY MAC’ written by Stuart Brayson who composed ‘From Here to Eternity’ with Tim Rice.
